Search your pages with Admin Menu Tree Page View
Last week I updated my WordPress plugin Admin Menu Tree Page View with something really nice: a search function:
I’ve been using the plugin a lot on my latest projects/web sites. I must admit that I really like it! My other plugin, CMS Tree Page View (CTPV), is also very good, but Admin Menu Tree Page View is so much more convenient since it’s always visible and available.
Anyway.. after using it frequently now for a while I noticed that on a site with many pages I often had to look around for a while to find the page I was looking for. So I though ”hey, wouldn’t it be really nice to have a search-function?”. So after almost just a couple of minutes (thank you jQuery and the contains-selector!) the function was ready. And as with the rest of the plugin, I just love the fact that I from anywhere in WordPress immediately can do a search for a specific page.
Next function btw: ability to re-order the pages. That’s the function is miss the most now anyway.

Brilliant plugin. It truly impressed me with how minimal and simple it is. Nice job, Paer.
Is it possible to right click on a page icon and choose ”duplicate” – sort of like Silverstripe CMS and MODx CMS? That would be a great feature to add to it.
Again: NICE!
Thanks for sharing your work.
Best regards,
Soren
Hi Soren! Glad to hear that you like the plugin.
I’ll se what I can do about the duplicate feature. Stay tuned..
Hi, plugin is perfect! I’m looking forward for collapsing items.
